What is FIFAe World Cup 2026™?
"FIFAe World Cup 2026™" is an official Football esports competition organized by FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association).
Following its second edition in 2025, this season marks the third season of the event. Top players from around the world will represent their countries in 2v2 matches in the Console and Mobile category.
To reach this stage, they must first be selected as a national representative. Depending on the FIFA Member Association (MA), different methods are used to choose each participant.
Among them, the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ Challenger Series is an official competition used as an important benchmark by FIFA Member Association when determining national candidates. It is a tournament that is hosted worldwide by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.

FIFAe World Cup 2026™ Challenger Series
Eligibility Requirements
You must meet the following requirements to be eligible for national team selection:
- The country of your nationality must have declared its participation in the FIFAe World Cup 2026™.
- In the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ Challenger Series, you must select the national team that corresponds to your national team.
Please note that individuals whose nationality belongs to a country or region that has not declared participation may still join the FIFAe World Cup 2026™ Challenger Series. In that case, you are free to select any team of your choice and enjoy the atmosphere of an international competition.
National Programme
To select their representatives, FIFA Member Associations can choose from one of the following pathways or in suitable combination of them:
- Direct Nominations
- Bootcamps
- Domestic Trials
National Programme Information
FIFA's Member Associations may run National Programmes throughout the year to identify their national representatives
Each Member Association may nominate a minimum of two and up to a maximum of 10 players to their extended national team.
Mode
The selection methods may vary by FIFA Member Association.
Note
- In order to become eligible for national team selection, players need to complete registration on FIFA.GG after the end of Round 3, following instructions provided by the tournament administrators.
FIFAe Nations League
The FIFAe Nations League 2026 is played across three online qualifying weeks, combining group and knockout formats to ensure competitive integrity and sufficient playtime for all national teams.
Across all three weeks, the Group Stage is played in a Single round Robin format, with all matchups as Best of 1.
In Weeks 1 and 2, the Knockout Stage is played in a single elimination bracket, while in Week 3 it is played in a double elimination bracket. All knockout matchups are played as Best of 2 (aggregate score), with a Golden Goal Game used as a tiebreaker if required.
The FIFAe Nations League 2026 is split into six regions: Asia East & Oceania , Asia West , Africa , North & Central America , South America , and Europe, following the Regulation and formats as outlined below:
